Jantar no restaurante giratório 360 Dining em Sydney

Eu acredito que comer fora não se resuma apenas à comer, não apenas à comida. Tudo bem que existem aqueles momentos em que se há pressa de forrar o estômago e resolver a vida. Mas quando a intenção é celebrar, serviço também conta. A qualidade do vinho, quão educado o garçom é e também o lugar. Hoje eu quero dividir com vocês a experiência que eu tive em um restaurante com uma vista incrível: o 360 em Sydney, na Austrália. Foi uma noite maravilhosa com a minha família.
O legal desse restaurante é que ele gira. Não rápido que te deixa tonto, mas o suficiente para que você consiga apreciar a vista da bela cidade.

Minha dica é: reserve para que você esteja lá durante o por do sol.

Nós pedimos uma garrafa de Prosecco. Todos os pratos que pedimos estavam ótimos.

O jantar foi incrível e a vista é sensacional. Realmente vale a pena!

Great Dining Experience in Sydney, Australia

I believe that having a meal outside shouldn’t be just about eating out, not just about the food. Well, of course sometimes you are in a rush, and just have to put something your stomach, so anything would work. But, when you want to celebrate, the service counts. The quality of the wine, how polite the waiter is and also the place. Today I would like to share with you the experience I had in restaurant with a great view: the 360 in Sydney, Australia. What a great evening I had with my family. The thing about this restaurant is that it spins. It is not fast that will make you feel dizzy, it is enough for you to contemplate the beautiful city.

My recommendation when you go in a place like this is: book the sunset hour.

We asked for a Prosecco bottle, which was a great choice. And each of us had a different dish. All of them were great. 

Starter: eggplant

Main dish: Spinach and Ricotta Rotolo (pasta)

Dessert: Lemon Pie and Vanilla Ice Cream

   

Dinner there was amazing, the view is great. It really worths the visit.

Guia rápido para fazer as malas

Meu primeiro post vai ser sobre viagem, mas não a parte bonita, quando já chegamos ao nosso belo destino, vivendo grandes momentos. Vai ser sobre uma parte que é essencial, mas não necessariamente divertida da viagem: arrumar as malas.
Eu amo viajar e depois de quase 20 países posso dizer que arrumar as malas nunca fica mais fácil. fico sempre com aquela sensação de que estou esquecendo algo, embora nunca de fato me falte nada, tem sempre aquela impressão de que o look perfeito ficou em casa.
Roupas de inverno só tornam a missão mais complicada. O volume dos casacos e jaquetas, além do peso das botas de neve! Bom, eu não sou uma expert no assunto, mas até que me saio bem. Às vezes faço milagres!

Depois de morar sete meses na Itália, em 5 cidades diferentes, eu aprendi a primeira lição: não entre em pânico! A mala vai fechar.
O que eu amo em voos internacionais e que dá pra carregar muita coisa, mas infelizmente, algumas vezes, a mala não é grande o suficiente. É o caso da minha mala da foto, é super prática, mas acaba me deixando na mão.

No fim das contas, tive que colocar algumas peças em outras malas..mas ficar longe de casa por tanto tempo complica a situação.

Então.. o que eu recomendo na hora de fazer as malas?
Primeiramente, as dicas óbvias: checar a previsão do tempo. Isso so funciona para viagens curtas, mas no caso de viagens longas, veja se na temporada que voce vai estar fora costuma chover, nevar ou se é absurdamente quente ou frio.
Leve ao menos um look para ocasiões especiais "e se eu tiver um jantar chique?", "e se rolar um churrasco com a galera?". Tente pensar em ocasiões das mais simples às mais formais. E sempre, sempre leve um par de sapatos chique.
Uma das lições mais importantes que aprendi é: esteja preparado caso seu voo seja cancelado. Sempre leve na bagagem de mão roupas limpas (peças íntimas são essenciais) e itens de higiene pessoal.
Para minimizar estragos, coloque shampoo e cremes dentro de sacos plásticos e para organizar bem, coloque toalhas, jeans e pijamas por baixo das roupas que amassam.

How to.. pack your luggage

My very first post is going to be about traveling, but not the beautiful part, when we have already arrived to our beautiful destiny, having great moments. It is going to be about what is essential, but not necessarily fun about it: packing.

I love traveling and after almost 20 countries I can say that packing never gets easier. I always feel like I didn't do a great job packing. I never really miss anything, but that is the sensation of the perfect outfit is at home and not with me.

Winter clothes only makes things harder, the volume of winter coats, jackets and snow shoes. But I am not that bad, not an expert, but I can do miracles!

After living seven months in Italy, in 5 different cities I learned our first lesson: DON'T PANIC! It will close. What I love about international flight is that we can take a lot with us.. but unfortunately, sometimes, the size of our luggage is not big enough. It is the case of the one in the picture. This is a very helpful kind of luggage, but sometimes, not the best one.

After all, I had to put some clothes in other bags.. but the thing is staying away from home for that long makes it harder.

So.. What would I recommend you when you pack?

First, the obvious tips: check the weather. This only works if you are staying short term, but even being long term, check if in this season usually rains, or snows or if it is incredibly hot.

Take with you at least one outfit for specific occasions like "what if I have a fancy dinner?", "what if I have a small barbecue with friends?". Try to think about casual and formal occasions. And always take with you a pair of fancy shoes!

One of the most important lessons I've learnt is that if you have a flight canceled, you better be prepared for this. So always take with you clean clothes (underwear is essential) and personal hygiene items. 

To minimize damage, put shampoo and lotions inside plastic bags and to organize well, jeans, towels, pijamas go first.
